We are happy you found us. 

Apparently there is a fair bit of confusion when it comes to finding the Rhythm Method band in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. If this is the band that you saw in the Ottawa area and wanted to know more about, this is the right page. Those bands in Upstate New York, British Columbia and London UK can be found on other sites.

Are you still with us? Good. That's how we like it. So this page has the usual "this is us, what we do, some sound samples and how to contact us if you want to hire us" stuff with the links to even more areas where you can find out more, see more, comment more, more, more, more, more...

... enough of more. More gets boring. 

We should cut to the chase - this band plays covers of party and dance music that is intended to get people out of their seats and moving on the dancefloor. If you are not dancing, likely you will be singing along. If you are doing neither of those things, you are in the wrong place. It is really all about the fun. We entertain. That is the value over playing recorded music or having a DJ. If you are not looking for entertainment, we are not your band. 

We are also a non-profit band. What does that mean? If the band gets booked we charge a rate for the PA equipment and lights, basic cost recovery and all extra resources are donated to charities.  Does this set us apart? Maybe... but we are all committed to providing to our respective causes and we get to have fun doing it. That's just us.
